For the sake of perambulating the sightseeing of Karnataka and Goa , the golden chariot is one of the best options for you. It is a luxury tourist train that connects the major tourist destinations of the state Karnataka & Goa in India . It is named after the stone chariot in the Vithala Temple at Hampi. The nineteen coaches of this luxury train are coloured purple and gold. Destinations of the two states are covered within 8 days/7nights by golden chariot. There are facilities on board such as restaurants, a lounge bar, and conference, gym and spa facilities. It is the only train in India to have onboard Wi-Fi connectivity, and satellite antennae providing live television service in the cabins. The Golden Chariot Train Tour starts on every Monday of the week from Bangalore and ends in Bangalore on every Monday morning respectively.

Day 01 Monday: Bangalore
Arrive in Bangalore and meet the assistant at airport. He will take you to book hotel for freshen up. 1230hrs you will be transfer to pre boarding procedure for the golden chariot, and lunch at Jamawar. Later on visit Tipu's Wooden Palace , Basavanagudi ( Bull Temple ) largest monolith Bull statue, Lalbagh Botanical Garden . Later drive to Yeshwanthpur Railway Station to board the luxurious golden chariot. It departs for Mysore at 2100 Hrs. Dinner and Overnight on Board.

Day 02 Tuesday: Kabini
On Monday you will have several tourist spots to view. On arrival, transfer to Kabini Bandipur by the way of forests. High Tea on arrival and after that go for nature walk and boat ride. Have a lunch and take rest at the Kabini / Bandipur, in the afternoon film show on Indian wildlife and Jeep Safari ride to the Nagarhole / Bandipur National Park Overnight at Kabini Rajiv Gandhi National Park, was former known as Nagarhole national park (Kabini), the hunting retreat of the Mysore Maharajas, is certainly the ideal destination for wildlife lovers in South India. In the wildlife, you will watch several species of wild animals and birds through a birdwatcher. After all that you have an opportunity to watch the highest peak Himad Gopalaswamy Hill in the Bandipur range.

Day 03 Wednesday: Mysore
Have a breakfast on board. On arrival, transfer to view Daria Daulat - Tipu's Palace; in the afternoon have a lunch at hotel Mysore. After buffet lunch proceed to visit Chamundi Hill. Afterward visit the famous Mysore Palace ,the Amba Vilas Palace, Mysore and elephant ride, experience the cultural show at Rangayana. Evening drive back to the golden chariot, and have a dinner on board. Mysore is a city known for its resplendent palaces and imposing as well as magnificent buildings. Mysore , once the state capital, but now is a vibrant city teeming with tourists and visitors. It is known the world over for its exotic sandalwood and The Golden Chariotrich silks. S3everal gastronomic delights await those inclined to sample the regional cuisine. Srirangapatna: The island fortress of the legendary warrior king Tipu Sultan is just 14 km from Mysore city. Within the fortress is Tipu's mosque with its twin minarets, the Wellesley Bridge and the dungeons where British officers were once incarcerated.

Day 04 Thursday: Hassan
Have a breakfast on board. The golden chariot en route to Hassan, and continue drive to Halebidu - Hoysala temple architecture tour. After that drive to Belur also well-known for Hoysala temple architecture tour, and after lunch proceed to Shravanabelagola - Jain pilgrimage centre. Climb upon Indragiri hill to witness tallest monolith of the world. Later drive back to The Golden Chariot and overnight spend on Board Belur in Hassan district 220 kms from Bangalore and 38 kms from Hassan is well-known for its magnificent Hoysala Temple Complex. The Chennakesava Temple here is the major attraction, built by Hoysala Vishnuvardhana, to commemorate his victory over the Cholas. The facade of the temple is filled with intricate sculptures with no portion left blank. Looming atop the picturesque Vindhyagiri Hill, every 12 years, Jain pilgrims throng here to participate in a splendid head-anointing ceremony.

Day 05 Friday: Hampi
You arrive at Hampi before sun rises. Have a breakfast on board the golden chariot. After that transfer to Virupaksha temple complex, Hampi is the sacred centre. Later have buffet lunch on board. Afternoon explore Vittala Temple Complex and royal centre, shop and a tour of the craft bazaar and later go back to board. Dinner on board Hampi has been classified as a World Heritage Center and is one of the major tourist spots in the country. Hampi, the seat of the famed Vijayanagara Empire was the capital of the great empire in post-mughal India , covering numerous states. The Vijayanagara Empire expanded over at least three states -Karnataka, Maharashtra , and Andhra Pradesh. The destruction of Vijayanagar by marauding Moghul aggressors was sudden, shocking and absolute. Sheltered by the tempestuous river Tungabhadra in the north and rocky granite ridges on the other three sides, the ruins silently narrate the story of grandeur splendor and remarkable wealth. A visit to Anegundi village by traversing the gushing Tunga Badra River on a coracle is an experience that provides the guests with a glimpse into the traditional country life in Karnataka.

Day 06 Saturday: Gadag - Pattadakal - Badami
Early morning journey to Gadag and drive to hotel for freshen up; after that visit Pattadakal - World Heritage Site. Relax over lunch and shop at the crafts bazaar in Hotel Badami Court . Tour to Badami Caves the 3rd Century rock cut cave temple at Badami. Later return to Gadag for departure to Vasco, Goa . Have a dinner on board.

Day 07 Sunday: GoaThe Golden Chariot
Arrival in Goa in the morning, which is known as "Pearl of the Orient" and a "Tourist Paradise", the state of Goa is located in the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. The magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendors of its temples, churches and old houses have been made. Goa is a firm favorite with travelers around the world. But subsequently, Goa is much more than just beaches and sea, has a soul which goes deep into unique history, rich culture and some of the most stunning natural scenery that the country has to offer. What's more the natural beauty, the fabulous beaches and sunshine, travelers to Goa love the laid-back, peaceful, warm and friendly nature of the Goan people. After all, more than anywhere else all over the world, this is a place where people really know how to relax. After breakfast on board, transfer to famous Candolim Beach . Sun bathe on the pristine beaches. Later drive to hotel for lunch in comfrtale. Later drive to Old Goa. Explore to Solar De Colasco an Old Portuguese House, to Basilica of Bom Jesus church of Old Goa - World Heritage site and later return to the board the Golden Chariot, dinner on board The Golden Chariot. Itinerary back to Bangalore.

Day 08 Monday: Bangalore
1100 arrival at Yeshwanthpur railway station and you will be dropped at airport to onward flight.
