Taj Mahotsav is an event which is held for ten days in the famous city of Taj at Agra in Uttar Pradesh. This festival is celebrated in the month of February; it shows the magnificence of arts, crafts, culture and traditions of Uttar Pradesh. Folk music, shayari (poetry), classical dance performances, elephant and camel rides, games and a food festival are also the glorious part of this fair. It is a detonation of colors, festivities, music, merry making, traditional food (cuisine), dance and all the vital to cheerfulness, delight and enthusiasm.

Though the Taj Mahotsav is celebrated annually during the spring season for 10 days but in this small span of time people who become the part of its celebration enjoy a lot of it crafts, arts and all the beauty of other things. Taj Mahotsav is held in a village named Shilpgram that is just right next to the amazing Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahotsav is a lot more than a mere annual event and organized by the Uttar Pradesh department of tourism in Agra , India . This festival reflects upon the expressions of enjoyment and the spirit of delight and love.

The entry ticket of Taj Mahotsav is Rs.10/-.
Ticket windows are available on the entry gates to buy the tickets.
Below the age of 10 have free entry.
For school children in school uniform in a group of minimum 100, tickets of Rs.100/- is charged in which two teachers have free entry.
There is no separate ticket for cultural programs.
All foreign visitors have no entry fees in taj mahotsav.

The visitors are requested to enter in queue and cooperate with the security staff of taj mahotsav.
