Transfer to the Pink City (Jaipur) was the erstwhile capital of royals. Pink City is also current capital of colourful Rajasthan as the city offers numerous colourful palaces and forts to its tourists.
On arrival the Pink City by driving approx 5 hours, transfer to the Amber Fort . The Fort was started to construct in 1592 by Man Singh but it was completed by his decedent Jai Singh I. The Walls and the ceiling of the fort are covered with a stunning array of mirrors. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and looks even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. One looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake in the front, one cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a good-looking illusion.
City Palace
City Palace of pink city is a prime tourist attraction of Rajasthan. The palace is an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal art and architecture. The City Palace multipart houses several palatial structures constructed by many legendary rulers. The museum of Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II has a wide-ranging collection of art, carpets, enamelwares and 15th century weapons. Within the City Palace , there are some of the significant attractions including the Textile, Art Gallery , Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Badal Mahal, Sukh Nivas & Shobha Nivas, Chhavi Nivas & Mukut Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple.

After visiting the two monuments, proceed to the hotel for buffet lunch. After the lunch proceed to the Jantar Mantar built 1727 and 1733 Maharajah Jai Singh II. It is the five astronomical observatories. The observatories, or "Jantar Mantars" as they are usually known, integrate multiple buildings of unique form, each with a specific function for astronomical measurement. Jantar Mantar is one the largest observatories all over the globe and known for geometrical forms for calculating the time of day, the heights of heavenly bodies, predicting eclipses and the situations of constellations.
Hawa Mahal, which adjoins the well-known City Palace wall, was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh and has now become one of the foremost landmarks of pink city as Jaipur. It is shaped like a pyramid and is a five-storied building, with number of small windows and screens, with arched roofs. There are 953 windows in Hawa Mahal, which offer cool wind. During the Sun set, drive to Delhi and proceed to the hotel or IGI airport.
