Day 01 Wednesday: Delhi
The Palace on wheels journey India begins from Delhi Cant railway station at 1745hrs, where the tourists are accorded with a warm & traditional welcome. Dinner is served on board at 2000hrs and you are on the way to Jaipur known as Pink City.
Day 02 Thursday: Jaipur
On arrival in pink city, transfer to book the hotel for lunch and for being freshen. In sightseeing of Jaipur you explore Hawa Mahal - Palace of Winds , Jantar Mantar - the largest observatory of Maharaja Jai Singh, Nahargarh fort, Amber fort and City Palace . You go back to Palace on Wheels around 1830hrs where the dinner awaits you on board.
Day 03 Friday: Jaisalmer (Arr 0815Hrs. Dep 23.00Hrs)
Jaisalmer is also a popular tourist spot of the most famous tourist state Rajasthan, known for its golden fort made of yellow sandstone. The Patwon ki haveli and Nathmalji ki haveli are the finest examples of the sculptor's skills; the sand dunes exterior Jaisalmer provide you an excellent place for a camel ride. After taking buffet lunch on board, you can enjoy a camel safari in the sand dunes. Dinner on the sand dunes under the moonlit sky is another highlight of your stopover. You can take pleasure in the cultural programs at a hotel in Jaisalmer. Later go back to the Palace on Wheels and the train, leaves for Jodhpur at night.
Day 04 Saturday: Jodhpur (Arr 0700Hrs Dep 1530Hrs)
Early morning the Palace on Wheels arrives Jodhpur , the second largest city of Rajasthan fortified by a high stonewall with seven gates and several bastions. Popular tourist destinations consist of Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana. You have your lunch at hotel where you will find peaceful ambiance. Afterward return to the Palace on Wheels.
Day 05 Sunday: Sawai Madhopur (Arr 0400Hrs Dep 1030Hrs)
Sawai Madhopur is popular for its Ranthambore National Park one of the most well-known national parks in India . Ranthambore national park offers an occasion of elephant riding to observe a variety of wildlife including tigers, chital, deer, monkeys and many more like them. Another not to be missed tourist attraction here is Ranthambore Fort. Afterward return to the Palace on Wheels and leave for Chittorgarh. On arrival Chittorgarh at 1530hrs, transfer to the city of bravery and romance. The 7th century Chittorgarh Fort has witnessed many wars fought over to protect the decorum and respect of the beautiful queen, Padmini. Other attractions consist of Vijay Stambh ( Tower of Victory ) and the Kirti Stambh ( Tower of Fame ). After excursion city of bravery and romance, return to Palacee on Wheels leaves for Udaipur.
Day 06 Monday: Udaipur
You reach Udaipur at 1530hrs. Udaipur is the city of lakes. Next morning you take a tour to the spectacular palaces, forts and temples of Udaipur . You also visit the most stunning sites of Udaipur , the Jag Niwas - Lake Palace and the Jag Mandir appears to rise from the blue waters of Lake Pichola . After that you take lunch at the Lake Palace Hotel.
Day 07 Tuesday: Bharatpur-Agra (Arr 0630Hrs Dep1145Hrs)
The Palace on Wheels arrives in Bharatpur in the early hours of the day. After taking breakfast, set out for the world famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also famous as Keoladeo Ghana National Park , in this world-famous bird sanctuary, you can see several species of as the rare migratory birds like Siberian cran es. Continue journey for Agra . Arrival in Taj City transfer for lunch. Afterward visit the wonderful Taj Mahal, constructed by Shah Jahan, as a symbol of love for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, and also visit Agra Fort.
Day 08 Wednesday: Delhi
You have your dinner on board this luxurious train get set to return to Delhi. The luxury train arrives at Delhi Cantt Railway station the next morning at 0600hrs. You have your breakfast on board the train, and here your unforgettable journey comes to its ending.
