Chini Ka Rauza Agra Chini Ka Rauza is a classic example of the Persian influence on Mughal Architecture of the period, is situated just one kilometer North of Itmad ud Daulah's Tomb. Chini Ka Rauza is the tomb of Allama Afzal Khan Mullah of Shiraz , built in 1635. Allama Afzal Khan Mullah of Shiraz , a scholar and poet, was the Prime Minister of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Chini ka Rauza is only one example of Persian architecture in love city Agra , Uttar Pradesh.

Chini ka Rauza, the tomb of Allama Afzal Khan Mullah of Shiraz derives its name from the colorful tiles (chini) that cover the walls of the tomb. The blue, green and yellow tiles that embellish this medieval Indian mausoleum comprise its most notable feature. In reality, this glazed tile beautification dominates the entire architectural work of art of this building. On the other hand, the eminent features of this architecture include presence of an Afghan-style bulbous dome and beautiful beautification with geometric and flower-patterned arabesque in multi-colored glazed tiles.
